ScorePerfect LSAT Course Reviews

Sydney McDermott | Baylor University Before ScorePerfect 146 After ScorePerfect 167

“The ScorePerfect course is extremely well organized. The concepts addressed at the beginning are some of the more challenging, but they are the fundamental elements of the LSAT. The early presentation of these concepts allowed me plenty of time to learn and master them, and it also gave me a solid foundation to build upon as the course progressed. ScorePerfect also does a great job of breaking down questions by type and even subtype. For me, this approach worked very well as many of the types have specific techniques associated with them, so, as I was studying, I could readily associate the proper technique with when it should be applied. The techniques taught in the course are incredibly effective. Before I took the course, when I would see certain questions, I would spend a great deal of time pondering the question and end up selecting the wrong answer. The ScorePerfect techniques, however, enabled me not just to select correct answers, but to select those answers quickly and with confidence.

The course is centered around real LSAT questions, which helped me a lot as I moved into doing full-length practice tests because I was able to achieve an overall familiarity with the language of the exam and how questions were presented. During the lessons we would unpack each question, exploring what made the right answer correct and also what made the wrong answers incorrect. My instructor did an amazing job patiently answering every question we asked him, and he also asked great questions of us to ensure we actually understood the material. I also got a chance to learn from the questions my classmates had, which were often questions I would never think to ask, but questions whose answers provided additional clarity and insight for me. Each lesson was three hours long, and I expected those three hours to be extremely arduous, but the engaging set up made the lessons pleasant and productive. The homeworks are incredibly helpful as well. This is an exam that requires a ton of practice, and there is a myriad of practice questions and LSAT-related drills available. I found each homework important for solidifying the skills I was learning in class.

The LSAT is not an easy test and studying for it is not an easy endeavor, but the methodology ScorePerfect teaches makes the test extremely learnable and the course provided me with all of the resources I needed to achieve success.”

Brooke Noble | University of Texas Before ScorePerfect 159 After ScorePerfect 170

“When I began studying for the LSAT I knew I was perfectly capable of achieving a high score, I just didn’t know how to go about getting there. I recommend that anyone studying for the LSAT enroll in the ScorePerfect course, as it will give you the skills to hone your natural abilities. While you might be able to solve many of the questions on your own, the methods that ScorePerfect teaches really allow one to efficiently solve all of them without wasting any time.

Beyond the ScorePerfect methods I really appreciated that all of the study materials were from previous LSATs as opposed to materials that were designed to closely model the LSAT. There were also more practice materials than I could have ever conceived of doing, meaning I always had more sections to improve my weaker areas.

I did a lot of research before choosing ScorePerfect and couldn’t be any happier with my decision! I truly felt 100% prepared on the day of my test, which is something I didn’t ever think would be possible.”

Camille Walker | Texas A&M University Before ScorePerfect 157 After ScorePerfect 169

“ScorePerfect works. Whether you are looking for the big score increase or just trying to get those last few points to hit your ideal score, the ScorePerfect course will cover you. The breadth and depth of materials is key. However, the unique organization of real exam questions, online resources, and effective instructors is what really makes this course work. If you want to work through the thousands of LSAT questions that have been published, they’re all in the materials. But if you need to balance schoolwork and this course, ScorePerfect’s lessons and homework materials make all the time you spend the most effective. The best part is that ScorePerfect’s approach to ALL the questions is consistent, so when you target one question type that is tripping you up, your proficiency in all the question types increases. I’ve heard stories of instructors at other test prep companies “learning the test along with the students” (the horror!), but ScorePerfect’s instructors are not only top notch, they have gone through intensive training, and have access to extensive, ongoing teaching resources.”

Benjamin Faber | Washington University in St. Louis Before ScorePerfect 163 After ScorePerfect 177

“The ScorePerfect self-paced online LSAT course gave me all the tools I could have possibly needed to reach my full potential on the LSAT. The course was a perfect balance of working at my own pace and being held accountable. The required homework ensured that I got enough practice with each type of question, and the vast quantity of supplementary materials let me practice until I got the hang of things. Additionally, the course provided statistical insights into which types of questions I struggled with, which helped focus my studies on problem areas.

The most impressive part of the course was the helpful staff who provided personalized responses in minutes to any question I had. The LSAT can be a frustrating exam, and it is easy to get deterred when you don’t understand why a certain answer is correct. Getting help quickly was an incredibly beneficial aspect of the self-paced course, and it is clear that the team at ScorePerfect genuinely cares about their students.”

Jeffrey Huberman | Tulane University Before ScorePerfect 157 After ScorePerfect 174

“I wholeheartedly recommend ScorePerfect to anyone planning on taking the LSAT. The lessons are completely comprehensive—every aspect of the test is broken down and explained, allowing students to master every kind of question. From my first diagnostic to the actual test I could see progress at every checkpoint. The teachers are excellent, willing to work with every student and answer any question they might have. I am 100% confident that I would not have done as well on the LSAT without ScorePerfect’s help, and the course is absolutely worth it. Thank you ScorePerfect!”

Edward Laber | University of Arizona Before ScorePerfect 144 After ScorePerfect 164

“The people at ScorePerfect are genuine, extremely friendly, and committed to helping you achieve your LSAT goals. I had six weeks and only one shot to take the LSAT in order to apply for schools in the fall (or else I’d have to wait another year) and I am so glad I did not entrust my future to any other organization. Our ScorePerfect instructor really took the time to get to know each of us individually and hone in on our strengths and weaknesses. All of the study materials we were given were right on point and worth every penny. I felt very confident on test day knowing ScorePerfect was in my corner. Although I would recommend you begin preparing much earlier than I did, I am proof that you can improve your score by double digits in just six weeks with ScorePerfect.”

Amy Jowers | UT Dallas Before ScorePerfect 160 After ScorePerfect 173

“I spent a ton of time researching different prep courses before choosing ScorePerfect, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. ScorePerfect has phenomenal materials and instructors that combine to offer an excellent test preparation experience. The course truly gives you everything you need to be successful on the LSAT. The online materials are easy to access and convenient to use. The ScorePerfect curriculum breaks the LSAT down into different question types and offers effective strategies for each type of problem. In addition, the instructors focus on explaining the logic that underlies the entire test. If you put in the time and work, and follow the process, I am confident that you will see your score increase significantly. That being said, I am very pleased with the increase in my own score and with my final results on the actual LSAT. Thanks to ScorePerfect, I have broad options for which law school to attend and a high likelihood of receiving multiple scholarship offers too. I highly recommend this program!”

Kyle Watson | University of Oklahoma Before ScorePerfect 155 After ScorePerfect 175

“I highly recommend ScorePerfect as an LSAT preparatory course. It was immensely influential in my score increase. ScorePerfect did an excellent job, through in-class discussion, exercises, and supplemental material, helping me to comprehend every question and teaching me how to analyze each answer choice and determining the correct answer. ScorePerfect prepared me for every question I could potentially see on test day, and I felt fully prepared when I took the real test. I am very grateful for all the help from my instructor and the entire ScorePerfect staff, and would recommend the course to anyone with law school aspirations.”

Amber Ausley | University of Alabama Before ScorePerfect 149 After ScorePerfect 169

“I am so glad I made the decision to take the ScorePerfect LSAT course. I really think that ScorePerfect was the reason that I went from having a decent score to having a score to make my biggest law school dreams a reality. I did every practice test and all of the homework, and could not have felt more prepared going into test day. Normally I am an anxious test taker, but I knew ScorePerfect had equipped me with what I needed. I felt that I could really attack every section because of what I learned. The course provided structure, but also allowed for some flexibility. All of the video and written explanations were extremely thorough, and one of my favorite parts about the course was the academic support feature, which other courses don’t have. If I had a question, I would have a response from an actual person in less than 24 hours that would go into depth even beyond what was necessary to answer the question. With ScorePerfect I felt like the approach was not just getting correct answers, but understanding the reasoning behind all the questions. I think ScorePerfect can be crafted to any learning style, so I genuinely recommend it for anyone that wants a great LSAT score.”

Brad Gray | University of Texas Before ScorePerfect 155 After ScorePerfect 168

“I took my first diagnostic with ScorePerfect less than 24 hours after returning from a weeklong trip to Europe. My jet lag was so bad that walking in a straight line was a difficult task. Understandably, I was fairly pleased with my initial score of 155 considering the conditions.

But when I took the second diagnostic after a month’s worth of preparation and got the same exact score, I started to freak. How in the world could I not improve after a month of studying? I had attended every class, done every homework problem, and even slept ten hours the night before.

I fired off an email to our instructor asking her why I was having trouble with certain questions and why it took me longer to finish them before I had taken the class. She explained that people often take more time on the second diagnostic because they are actually still learning the tactics. I didn’t exactly believe her, but in retrospect she couldn’t have been more right. After a more few weeks of study, everything became much easier for me.

I couldn’t have had a better LSAT instructor. She really broke down the questions and was able to relate to us. On the actual exam I missed only two questions total on the logical reasoning sections and would have done significantly better on the test had I not undergone a slight panic attack on the reading portion and missed eight questions. Were I to take the test again today, I’m confident that I could be in the 170s. Based on the improvement that I saw, I would highly recommend this class to anyone preparing for the LSAT. The fact that the questions were separated into discrete groups was probably what helped me perfect my logical reasoning skills. I knew exactly what to expect when the real LSAT rolled around.”

Jonathan Wright | University of Colorado Before ScorePerfect 139 After ScorePerfect 162

“I want to thank you for your excellent LSAT program and the impact it has had on my future. I’m tremendously grateful for the exceptional curriculum and approach you offer your students and cannot imagine taking the LSAT without first taking ScorePerfect. My score on the first ScorePerfect practice test was a 139. I ended up scoring a 162 on the actual test—a score I am personally satisfied with and one that has helped me receive scholarships from every school I have been accepted to so far.

Looking back on my ScorePerfect experience, I can say that my instructor, Palmer Heenan, deserves the most credit for my success on the LSAT. Palmer is an incredibly dedicated instructor and approaches the art of teaching with true compassion and humility. I can say this because Palmer goes above and beyond for his students, encouraging them to reach out to him via phone and email at almost any time of the day. Moreover, Palmer brings a positive attitude and sense of humor with him to every lesson. He actually enjoys the LSAT, which is kind of crazy, but his attitude is infectious and benefits all of his students. I have been lucky enough in my life to meet certain people who have helped me overcome obstacles when I really needed help. Palmer is one of those people. Thanks so much to ScorePerfect and Palmer for helping me succeed in the law school admissions process.”

Peyton Lee | Northwestern Before ScorePerfect 166 After ScorePerfect 180

“ScorePerfect was the best decision I could have made to prepare for the LSAT. Their method of breaking down question types and teaching strategies for approaching them was incredibly helpful and my instructor was awesome. The materials provided had everything I could possibly need to prepare and more real LSAT questions for practice than I could possibly finish. I recommend ScorePerfect to anyone who is serious about doing their best on the LSAT.”
